“ When did this little gem opened? A ready to eat meal kits and meals and snacks store located right next to Aldi in Eastwood. I got some tuna kimchi kimbab roll, sweet fried sweet potatoes and dounuts with red bean paste. Will return to try out some meal kits. ”

“ Everything I got here was seriously so good The stews were packed with flavor. Even after freezing and reheating, they tasted amazing with rice!! Their Pork bone soup and braised mackerel hit the spot. So flavorful and comforting. Portions are super generous. Even though it says 1 serving!!??? it easily lasted me two meals:) I also picked up the 2+1 spicy pork lunch box, spicy pork and shrimp kimbap during the time sale. Both were fresh, tasty, and super satisfying. Spicy pork kimbap just became my absolute favorite xx Definitely my go-to Korean takeaway in Sydney! ”

“ Great experience for new customers. All the various side dishes and mains are thoughtfully packages and labelled. Very easy to walk in and pick up what you need quickly. Sometimes ethnic speciality food stores can be intimidating and hard to figure out what's nice or what to get, Munchy Food on the other hand is very accessible for visitors and non regulars. Give them a try. The side dishes are delicious ”

“ This is one of the really good banchan shops in Sydney. They also sell excellent dumplings, steamed buns, and Korean hotteok pancakes. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. I can even find some of their items in Korean grocery stores, including my local one in Castle Hill, which is a big bonus. ”

“ I absolutely love this place for all their Korean snacks and side dishes. They have the cheapest types and this also applies to their onigiris as well!! They are so nice and friendly. I recommend their club sandwich or rice balls if you’re after something light. They also have a large selection of banchans and I recommend their quail egg and marinated squid. ”

“ Marinated Spring onion kimchi was the best one I ever purchased from this side dish and ready to eat packaged food store. Yuk-kye-Jang(육계장) was tasty and enjoyable with a plenty of ingredients. Also Korean dumpling were also tasty and well. Jok-bal(족발) - marinated boiled pig leg was tasty too, but a bit salty and quantity was a bit lesser than other food store. Overall very satisfied Recommended. ”

“ There has been a trend of ready made korean food shops across Syd recently, but Munchy was one of the early ones. I’ve tried a few and til now Munch is still my fave due to 3 reasons: - value for money with frequent promotion - excellent taste - good service Our family loves their kimbap, mandoos, soup, banchan, almost everything. Their kimchi mandoo is as good as the ones in Strathfield restaurant but at half the price. 10 big juicy pieces at $13.99. The only thing to make it 200% better is if Munchy can provide the dipping soy sauce with mandoo. If this happens i will never need to go elsewhere for my mandoo fix ”
